Dear Internet,

I fell asleep on the couch last night from 9pm-10pm, then I went to my bed and slept from 10pm-9am. I had two really weird dreams that I don’t really remember. I can’t believe I slept for 12 hours. That’s the most sleep I’ve gotten in weeks. On school nights I go to sleep a little before or after (mostly after) midnight. And that’s not even because I watch Conan at 11. I’ve been watching him online for the past 2 or 3 weeks because I’m always still doing homework at 11. :’( On Wednesday I did watch Conan when it aired because of the live-blogging, but I was focused way more on the computer than the show, so I need to watch it again. And I missed Thursday’s episode. And SNL last night, Community, Parks and Recreation, The Office, Modern Family, Up All Night, and The Simpsons. BUT I NEVER HAVE TIME TO CATCH UP ON THEM. I have too much homework.

IB Language Arts- We have a HUGE project in November called an IOP (Individual Oral Presentation). And everything we do this semester leads up to it. My proposal has already been approved, so I’m allowed to start working on it. But when do I even have the time to start and how do I start it? I don’t like the book we’re currently reading. 3 CRs are due every week, and it’s easy to fall behind on them. Which I’ve done way too often. I caught up last weekend, but then I fell behind this past week. So I need to write 3 CRs today in order to be caught up. I’m so glad this isn’t my IOP book because I don’t like it and a few of my CRs are just complete bs. I’m not sure yet how I feel about my teacher. A lot of seniors who had him last year, said they really liked him. I’m grateful I have him instead of the other IB Lang teacher who most people pretty much didn’t like at all. We’ll see.

AP US History- I love my teacher. He’s amazing. He tells us tons of stories, makes so many funny references, and at the same time he’s a great teacher who actually teaches us well. But the work is insane. We usually have 1 chapter to read + notes per week. The chapters are SO LONG. Some of it’s interesting and some of it’s boring. And when I take notes I’m never sure if what I’m writing is actually that important. I wish I could just read the chapter, retain the information, and not take notes. I got a 56% on the last test so I need to do well on the ch. 8 quiz tomorrow, and on everything else really. I really really want to do well in this class. And pass the AP exam.

IB Spanish- I have an 88% in Spanish. -_- This class is a lot harder than I expected.

Guided Study/Lunch- I actually get some homework done in guided study so it’s really beneficial for me. I guess I can’t complain. I love lunch! Not just because I love eating, but because I sit with my band friends who are just great.

Integrated Algebra 2- I have a 102% in math. But before you’re all, “Oh my god you must be really good at math!”, No. I suck at math. It’s my least favorite subject and I hate it so much. Especially math last year. The only reason my grade is so high in math is because it’s not precal, which is what most juniors take. I’m in a cp (college prep) class. Algebra 2 is a cp class. It’s very slow paced and not so complex. I usually don’t even have homework. But what good college is going to want a kid who took 2 cp classes in high school?

Physics- Eh. It’s not as hard as I thought it would be, but it’s not really easy. I did really well on my first test, so I guess I’m optimistic. I don’t know, we’ll see?

Symphonic Winds- Band. Band is my favorite class. I love it so much. My band directors are the greatest people ever. We’ve had 3 pass-offs so far this year, and I could probably write an even longer post than this one about how crazy they make me. We’ve finally started getting into a piece of music this week for our winter concert. But on Friday something not so great happened. Too much talking. It happens way too often and it’s frustrating. Hopefully we’ll get better. I need to talk about band in a different post. Marching band is also another story. BUT WHO KNOWS WHEN I’LL EVEN HAVE TIME TO WRITE ABOUT THAT BECAUSE I’M SO BUSY. Other than eating and going to the bathroom, today will be nonstop homework. Great.

I’m sorry if you just read that whole thing. It’s just me venting stuff that’s just useless to you. How’s your life? I hope it’s going better than mine. Well, have a nice day. I should probably get out of my bed and start my homework. And eat.

Oh yeah, and I miss California. Still. A lot. Hugging Conan. CONAN. Oh my god. The weather. It’s so beautiful.
